TumuTrip uses a secure, streamlined payment process. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you understand how payments work on our platform.
Search & Select
Enter your pickup and drop-off locations, travel date, and passenger count. Browse available vehicles and select the one that best fits your needs 鈥?from economy sedans to luxury vans and charter cars.
Review Booking Details
Confirm your trip details including pickup time, route, vehicle type, and total price. The price shown includes all applicable fees and taxes 鈥?no hidden charges. For airport transfers, we track your flight for any schedule changes.
Enter Passenger Information
Provide your name, email address, and phone number. This information is used for booking confirmation, driver communication, and customer support. You may also add special requests for the driver.
Secure Payment
Review your booking summary and proceed to payment through our secure payment gateway powered by Antom. All transactions are encrypted with industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols. Your payment information is processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment partner and is never stored on our servers.
Booking Confirmation
Upon successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation email containing your reservation details, driver information, pickup instructions, and a unique booking reference number. Please keep this confirmation handy for your journey.
Accepted Payment Methods
We support a variety of payment methods for your convenience:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express
- Digital Wallets: Alipay, WeChat Pay
- Mobile Payments: Apple Pay, Google Pay (where available)
Available payment methods may vary depending on your location and the service provider.
Currency
Prices are displayed in your selected currency. The final charge will be processed in the booking currency shown at checkout. Please note that your bank or card issuer may apply a foreign exchange fee depending on your account settings. We have no control over and are not responsible for any such fees.
Cancellation & Refunds
If your booking is eligible for a refund under our cancellation policy (see our Terms of Service for details):
- Refunds are processed back to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
- Processing time: 7-14 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- You will receive an email notification once the refund has been initiated.
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund.
Payment Security
Your payment security is our top priority:
- All payment data is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols during transmission.
- We are PCI-DSS compliant and do not store your full card details on our servers.
- Our payment processing partner is Antom, a globally certified payment service provider with advanced fraud detection systems.
- Every transaction is verified and monitored for suspicious activity.
